As ambitious lawyer Steven Vey in The Guilty (1992), Michael Kitchen is adorably charming …

… yet chilling when his hand is forced.

The Guilty was hotly anticipated when it premiered in June 1992. In its two-page article on the drama, The Sunday Times (June 7, 1992) described it as “…gripping stuff – part morality tale, part high-action, high-gloss thriller – beautifully shot, finely scripted and consummately acted… It’s a tour de force for Kitchen, whose portrayal of a man on the edge makes good use of his mobile, pouchy-eyed features. He also has some terrific one-liners.”
