Wow, talk about your off-kilter characters.

In the dark comedy, Ball Trap on the Cote Sauvage (1989), Michael Kitchen plays a watchful, unsavory vacationer in France who has an odd relationship with his free-spirited wife (Miranda Richardson) and is loath to leave his drinking spot outside his tent for any reason except to retrieve more wine — and his gun.  Enchanted April this is not.
