Such pain and remorse on his face.  While I understand Anna’s fury, who wouldn’t sympathize with Richard Crane at least a little in this scene so well acted by Michael Kitchen?

The performances are sterling – not least that of Michael Kitchen, who knows how to exude a combination of decency and pain that comes straight from his rotter’s heart.
